Common questions
Does Cargoa work with individuals or only businesses?
Cargoa is a business-to-business service. We work with registered companies that import for resale, production or operations. If you are a business, message us on WhatsApp or email and we will take it from there.
Can you collect goods from my supplier in another country?
Yes. Our air freight service starts with pickup at your supplier's location, wherever in the world it is. We coordinate the collection, check the packing and paperwork, ship by air and deliver to your doorstep in Nigeria.
What does internal logistics cover?
Moving cargo inside Nigeria by road and by water: trucks and trailers between ports, airports, warehouses and your site, and chartering of barges for heavy, bulky and bulk cargo.
What do you check when you review import documents?
We check that the commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading or air waybill, Form M, insurance certificate and any permits agree with each other and match the goods, before they reach customs. We flag what must be fixed and by whom.
How does cargo insurance work with Cargoa?
We have partnerships with more than five insurance companies. You tell us what you are shipping and its value, we compare cover from our partners, and you choose the policy that fits. We issue the certificate and support you if there is a claim.
Which dangerous goods can you import?
Many business products qualify when they are classified, packed, marked and documented correctly: lithium batteries, paints, aerosols, perfumes, cleaning chemicals, dry ice, diagnostic samples, pyrotechnics and life jackets, among others. Some need special permits and some cannot travel by air. We assess every request before you ship.
Can I track my shipment?
Yes. Cargoa sends you a tracking number when your shipment is booked. Enter it on our tracking page to see pickup, departure, arrival in Nigeria, customs clearance and delivery. You can also ask us for an update on WhatsApp at any time.
How do I get a quote?
WhatsApp us on +234 707 000 6666, email info@cargoa.org, or use the form on our contact page. Tell us what you are moving, where from and when you need it.
